Serpentine roots blower crank pulley mod
So I kinda looked around when I made the decision to switch to serpentine instead of the 3 v-belts and didn't find anything to replace the 500 efi crank pulley I'm using and still be able to mount my 8mm blower pulley. Soooo I decided to make it lol...used my old 2V crank pulley and machined it down to fit inside the stock 500 efi crank pulley and then faced it off to get it down to .002" sticking out of the crank pulley to give me something to mount my blower pulley to. Just figured I'd share as I think it came out great. I'm sure someone makes something but it was fun to make it myself lol.

Nice work. So, are you a machine tradesman, or you just play one on TV? Curious....
Thanks. Brad.

NIce job!
I just want to point out that there is usually a pilot on the back of the serpentine pulley that keeps it centered on the crank. And then on the spacer. I'll see if I have something I can post a picture of..

Yes...there is a pilot on the serp pulley and there WAS one on the 2V...machined it off so the pulley would sit flat against the face of the serp pulley to give me more surface area instead of sitting up on that pilot/boss
I am sure as tight as the bolt holes are and how tight they line up(the 3 main bolts) that it will center just fine and run true
