OK, cool. Did they R&R easily? I've done them on small blocks on before and I recall it's straight forward from stock to stock.

The boat has the stock 502 HP I think 410HP. I have yet to check the Serial #'s to see if they are Gen V or VI. The hull model year COULD have the GEN V engines if they really built it in 1995 and put it out to sell in 1996. I have a feeling that what is in there is the Gen V flat lifter not the roller lifter.

Anyway I am looking at repowering or rebuilding the engines. If the Donzi was perfect cosmetically I would think more about spending the cash to repower with new but by the time I get into fixing all the other crap I'm looking at 90k probably. Way more than book for this boat.

You all know it is nearly impossible to sell a ten year old boat, although mechanically new, for what you have spent. SO, there is the conumdrum.

Half of me wants to turn a wrench for fun and the other says just buy a new freakin boat, what the hell are you thinking!
