How long did you have the 22zx? Looks identical to the one I sold a few years back and miss it terribly. 454MAGHO with Stainless Marine exhaust...thing was a rocket for sure. Only drawback was the seating was low and crushed your guts when you launched. Otherwise those 2zx with step are rocket ships....sharp boat!

I had it here in NC for almost 2 years, Picked it up in SC, I miss that thing, It was fun. I spoke to a few places that threw a bunch of power at them and they suggested against it and just step up to a more capable hull.
