I have never owned a 38 zrc but have ridden in two of them. Both had 575's and did 92mph on the gps!

The boat in the pictured above is the ZR comp with 575s that Gene drove. She runs a solid 93MPH. Let me be the first to say I have never drove a Poker Run in a 38Comp I always used a stand up ZR, I could get use to driven a sit down especilly after Sarasota we ran our new ZR with 700s with 3-4ft chop and winds blowing over 18mph, Gene Weeks on Throttle and me at the wheel that boat ran better then any boat I have ever driven. We smoked by everyone and ran with the 43ZRs at 90mph with a couple of 104mph blasts and not once did I feel I was going to loose that boat she is one of the straightest running boats, solid never hit hard and just a fun boat to run, I laughed because most of the guys were complaining there legs, backs, necks hurt. I actually felt good after 200mile of wave flying. Donzi did a hell of a job on the 38ZR Comp and to me it is still one of the finest boats made today.

The boat pictured if it was Mark's (Va Donzi Dealer who is in prison, last I heard, a bad accident).
I will state that that boat ran STRONG at every outing.
I made an offer on that boat and he laughed at my numbers, said he would just keep it.

Tom I drove both boats in a poker run a 36 gladiator and even though she is a great boat and runs good, I never drove a boat in rough conditions like that 38ZR as rough as the water was I never felt un-easy running at over 90mph she just tracks so nice! after the first 15 min of running her I can get into a sit down boat real fast. AWESOME!!
