I'm looking for opinions on this 22 classic.

Looked at it today and it needs some work. Its obviously been in saltwater its entire life and never been under a cover. Drive is original to the boat but the 496 is a 2001 w/ 87 hrs. Interior is in ok shape. Any idea what its worth? Thanks for any help.

The boat doesnt look too bad, if cosmetically it is really nice it may be a good find. Salt can be tough on stuff, it would depend on how well they really took care of the boat as a whole.. The price may be fair if the engine they put in is in good shape. Jamie / Lakeside

yea, thats the thing, cosmetically its probably a 3. The topside needs atleast wet sanded and buffed and all the stainless replaced, which isnt a problem for me but I'm trying to justify the price. Another worry of mine is the drive, its original to the boat and shows the fact that it spent its whole life in saltwater. On the plus side theres no stress cracks or scapes.
