From: west palm beach FL,
This is the rendering for Rob D'Angelo's new 2009 38ZR with 700's. The boat is in production and should finish sometime in September. He traded his 2005 38zr with 600 SCI's and it is posted in the classifieds. Rob has had an amazing number of Donzi's over the year ranging from 22 classic, 33zx, 38zx with Sterling 700's, & 38 ZR. Everyone here at Sportboats would like to thank Rob for his dedication to Donzi and the performance boat lifestyle.

Congraulations Rob! You're going to love that boat!
I've got the 43ZR and it's fantastic. It's maybe a lot of boat but my wife and I really like it, we've got all the amenities (Full cabin, A/C, Genset ...etc). I get about 94 to 96 mph out of the 700's, the 38 with 700's should get another 10 to 12 mph. As for how long between overhauls on the 700's, I don't know. Maybe I should be more concerned, I have only had the boat 3 months and I've put 83 hrs on it. It was lotsa $$$ but hey, you only live once and you can't take it with you.
Cheers!

We need some pics of your 43!! I think the 43/700's package is a perfect combination for my tastes. Glad to hear from someone who has one and is loving it!!
