Hey Vagrant, I was there last year with Bryan T. and another guy in a 22 Scarab. I had the StingRay "STUNG AGAIN". We all stayed at my family's cabin on the other end of the lake and had a blast, especially the 76-falls day...

Unfortunately, my summer's booked and had to let the Cumberland trip slide this year. I know Bryan's bringing the "real driver" to the game this year with him and it's gonna be bigger and better than last year's kickoff event. You guys have fun and enjoy that gorgeous location.....

Hey Rick,
How are things going. I not sure if we are going to make it this year or not we have plans to do the miami key west poker run again this year .
That pretty much takes up our vac time but we will see. Did you get a new boat last year ? I thought
i seen a post on that.
Take Care

VAGRANT, as said above, Nancy and I are locked in, we have a cabin at Jamestown, I actually bought a new tow rig for the new Donzi, so we can make many Donzi events this year.
I hope you guys can make it too.
Take care.
Bryan

Yep, I stepped up a notch to the 288 Sunsation because the StingRay just wasn't gettin' it on the onery ole ChesBay. Loved the boat and especially loved driving it. The Sunsation has lived up to every bit of it's growing reputation and I think I'll stick with it for awhile...

Good luck in Key West if you decide to go, it sounds like a blast. I haven't been down there since '88 on business. I've heard it's changed a lot since then and since I lived there in the very early 80's...

Last year's AOTH run for me was a blast in many ways both within and outside the event itself. I just don't think I could duplicate the good time I had. It was one of those where the mold was broke....

Bryan, Nancy is gonna love that trip. Cumberland is a beautiful place and Jamestown Marina/Resort is a beautiful location. I wish all the Donzi bubba's the best of luck and the best of weather...

Thumbs up Donzi Outting Lake Cumberland, May 10-12th

David,

I can wait to go!!! Last year was a blast. I hear over 50 Donzi's are expected. I remember last year like it was yesterday. Gathering at the Falls, Lake tours for lunch, Radar runs at the Dam, Picnics and Barbecues.....There's nothing that compares to the gathering of dozens of Donzi's at the marina and cruising the Lake. 35 days til AOTH2. I hear they are going to have a Helicopter taking pictures this year!!! GEOO

Default 7 Days Away

Were only 7 days away from the "Awakening of the Horses II" If there is anyone out there that has not heard about this Donzi gathering, check out www.mwdonziclub.com. The gathering runs from May 9th through the 14th and ground zero is the Jamestown Resort in Jamestown, KY.

Even if you don't own a Donzi, feel free to stop by and say HELLO. It's always nice to meet board members face to face. We're all performance boaters and can appreciate a nice boat no matter who the manufacturer is.
