did a poker run with a friend who had one a few years back - everytime the boat came onto plane it would severly list to one side or the other for about 10 seconds and then straighten out. Other than that, it had a good ride...

Flanigan told me you had finally come out of the closet, and I wasn't sure how to deal with it...
rslii - sorry kr1276 had to get off topic here, but his hormone treatments have made him extremely sensitive lately...

I have never owned a 45' but I have not heard anything complementary about the boat. Funny we were just talking about the 45 Donzi design Friday night in St. Pete before the poker run, comments metioned by some very reliable sources (former Donzi employee) are... unstable, too heavy, and takes forever to plane. I would not buy one because of concerns of a roll over, not a safe boat.

Rumors again... when I was looking at one, a very reliable person in the industry told me that several have rolled and are terribly unstable overall. It was strongly suggested that I look at other boats! There has been one in Illinois that is a 2001 and the dealer never could sell it.
