Beautiful boat!

Jupiter Sunsation 06-16-2009 08:07 AM

Very sharp boat, glad to see you got one for the summer. I was reading the other thread on your to be built 27. The 35 is a nicer package for the money for sure. Enjoy!

RunninHotRacing163.1 06-16-2009 08:08 AM

CJMike 06-17-2009 08:46 AM

Sweet Boat. Glad your build problems are over. That 35 is way more boat than the 27.:evilb:

Very Nice looking boat Andy. Enjoy

Ran the boat this past weekend and I am not to happy with the speed. The prior owner had five blade 26 pitch maximus props on the boat. I can only get about 72 out of the boat. Need to find some 28 pitch bravo or 30 labbed bravo props.

Yea, Id throw a pair of stock 28's on there. The boat should run 78-80 easily then.

Donzi Andy 07-06-2009 10:00 PM

Ran the boat this weekend with stock bravo 28 pitch props with half a tank of fuel. And saw 75.4 at 4800 rpm. Does anyone have any suggestions for other props to try?

hering

Magic Medicine 07-09-2009 09:56 AM

why not some labbed 30's? I would stay away from 5 blades to hard on the drives in my opinion.

puredonzi 07-10-2009 12:34 PM

The 35 likes a lot of trim to get to speed! Where were drives positioned?

Donzi Andy 07-10-2009 06:16 PM

I have run as high as 6 so far. It seems like it takes a lot to get that last few mph out of her.

RumBlur 12-30-2009 01:02 PM

Sweeeeeeeet !! I have the same boat - got 83.3 GPS with all cheating tactics in place - wind, current, light chop, and no fuel. Real number would probably be 81.
Stock 28's, trim at 7, then 5,000 - 5,100 RPM, 87 octane fuel, and yes, wait a while for the last 2 MPH - not sure why you only see 75.4, but first thing I'd do is see if your props are really 28's via a fixture because sometimes they're only 26.5 or 27's in disquise. Your RPMs are down a little too. I would think it would rev higher if the props were pitched short. Is the boat so new that maybe a little break-in would help? I didn't wack mine until I had 20 hrs and an oil change done. At WOT are your rev-limiter alarms beeping at you?

Regardless, congratulations!!

Donzi Andy 12-30-2009 08:23 PM

The fastest I've run is 79.5 mph on the gps. I am running stock 28 bravo props, although I think I could run labbed 30s and hit 80 mph.

great speed!

RumBlur 01-01-2010 10:16 AM

My appologies for the typo Andy, I hit 81.3 not 83.3 - with all cheating in place, so 79.5 tells me that you have all things working correctly. Great pictures, - how many hours do you have on it now? I put 280 hrs on mine this past season and plan to trade up pretty soon.

Donzi Andy 01-01-2010 05:21 PM

I only have about 75 hours on mine, although I only got to use two months before it went in storage.

RumBlur 01-01-2010 09:11 PM

If I ever figure out how to post a picture, I'll send you one of mine. Right now when I click on the "Attach an Image" icon it asks me for a URL address ????? Stay tuned.

I am pretty sure you need to be a member to post pictures. Although you can post a link if the picture is somewhere else on the web.
