Wow on the speed.

There is a 08 - 28 Daytona here that has twin 725's, and Teague drives that runs a legitimate 135+. What is it that makes the 28 Speedster run so much faster? I thought the hulls were the same. The drives?

That speed seems a little far fetched.

Seemed high to me too, but they had the ilmor factory guys out there tuning it.

Im sure the indies helped, theoretically they are only taking a combined 30- 50 HP off loss (depending on whos # is really right) vs about 90-100 for the bravos- the but the # seems waay up there to me too.

I dont have any idea how the speedster and the daytona may be different, could be a lighter layup, but I really dont know.

Shueman doesnt have a rep for mendacity, but Ill be curious to read what the new owners say it will do and what similar builds post up.

Just went 110mph with 38zr with 700's and new cals, but it has more in it. Had a great feel to it.

Powerboat Magazine did a correction in the latest issue. It seems the Daytona had Merc 700's that were modified.
