Donzi 38 zr w/ ITS

Can anyone speak about the +/- of having the ITS on a 38 ZR w/ 525's? VS. same boat w/o the ITS system, just regular XR's?
thanks,
Dean

You might need to clarify year and hull to get a true response.

ZRC,ZR, etc..

Cash,
I did mention ZR model, and year wise 2007-2008.

I read that Donzi changed the ZR Comp hull bottom to a 4 step configuration in 2009.

As far as I know, Donzi didn't change the ZR bottom, is that true, anyone?

Still looking for the ITS data?

Hopefully Craig Barrie will chime in. :drink:

Thanks,
Dean

CR,
Yes you do! Thanks for the info, I thought it would have made a difference in speed #'s/handling, especially in bigger water....... I KNOW it make a difference in the $$!!!!

And the # is getting close, real close...

Happy New year CR!:drink:

Wasn't trying to call you out. The ZRC was previously called a ZR.

That was part of the confusion when they added the new models.

And , if what you're thinking is near me, let me know if I can help.

CB,
No worries, you brought up good points. Thanks for the offer, I'm looking at a quite few 38ZR's, and one is in S. Fl. so maybe we'll get together if/when I come look @ it.
Happy New year.

Hey Dean,

I just changed from a 38ZR with std Bravo XR's to 38ZR with 600's and latham extension boxes last season. Other than the speed and torque differences of the 600's the boat handles exactly the same. The ITS is a nice clean package on the transom, no hoses, etc to clean up around.

Good Luck,

Mark
