Default 28 zx starting issue

Got 99 28 zx with twin 350 mags that has trouble starting some times after it worms up. Never does it cold. Sometimes it will start and idle rough until you rev through it. Its not consistent to either motor, it happens on both. One theory is it is boiling the fuel which causes air in the fuel rail. Anyone ever had this problem and what fixed it? Thanks in advance.

Have you changed the fuel/water separator filters? $12 each at NAPA, you may want to start there. I have not had this problem on ours (your situation), but have been told this may prevent hard starting problems. I will check with some of my Donzi Brethren too see if they have experienced this. Another question, how many hours are you showing on these motors? What kind of engine temps are you running after running somewhat hard? <180 or >180?
