Default New ZRC Owner - Need Help!

I just purchased the former JBS Super V (with full knowledge of its history). Thanks to Jeff Stevenson and Shipyard Marine in Wisconsin. At some point, maybe soon, I will be refitting the interior and probably painting the boat. And yes, sadly, I have to change back from tractor headers to thru-transom exhaust.

In the meantime, I need to do some things to make it more useable and need some help. First, I need some ideas on fender storage. Is there anyone out there who can point me in the right direction on where I can get some "holders" that can be mounted in the engine compartment? Second, I need to mount the anchor somewhere under the bow hatch for easy access. Third, same for the life jackets and other safety gear. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I have attached some pics of what it looks like for now.

Hey Mike, Congrats on the new ZRC!
I love mine and you will love yours. Being a former raceboat, does yours have any glassed in floor under your deck hatches? If not, you may want to have someone just build a flat floor under the deck between the front of the cockpit and to the next bulkhead. That is where I store everything in large Rubermaid bins bungee corded down. One bin has lifevests and safety gear. One bin has tools and misc. equip. The third has the anchor, extra lines, tow rope, etc. I also mounted a porta-potti directly under the port hatch for those just in case moments or long breakdown idles.

Don't mind the hand gesture, lol, that is me standing on the floor in the deck storage area getting ready to use the head.
We were 2 hours and 1/2 a dozen beers into the idle back after blowing a drive on the way down to Islamorada.

I suggest going with a Box Anchor and putting it in a duffel bag.

A little bit late....but Mike another option for storage is to have PPI interiors make you side side panels with storage inserts in the gunnels and you can even have them put cup holders and Carbon fiber accents in. There is room in the gunnels to make storage. Not an expensive option to pursue either.
