was the 28 zx available with a single big block? Have seen a ZX0 with a single for sale , like the ZX better.

Yes they did offer the 28 with a single big block

A good friend of ours has a '98 28 ZX with a single Big Block and I have also seen a 2001 28 ZX single Big Block for sale on ebay a while back. The majority of the 28 ZX's that I have seen have been equipped with the twins. I love the twin set up personally.

Yes, most were twin SB set ups, but there were some single BB units out there. They could run with a single bb, but it needed big power to get moving fast.. Jamie / Lakeside

I believe our friends with the '98 (Rumshaker) have a single 540 built NA (no procharger) puttin out somewhere around 650-700 is getting around the 80 mph mark.

Thats my old boat.502 and bilt by tony at cms.I had it at 600hp and top speed of 75 gps.Runshaker did some work to it,changing the cam.Hes at 625hp and 78mph on the gps.

I have a friend that has one with a single BB. It cracks low 90's.
