Hi everybody ,
I'm approaching at Donzi's world !
I'm interest in a 43 ZR , to change my Cigarette Top Gun , but I don't know really so much about this boat.
I've noticed that some boats with the 3 motors set up has 4 mufflers in the stern and 2 mufflers on the boat sides .
Some boats has all the 6 mufflers in the stern of the boat
Why ??? Wich is the difference ??? The one with the 6 mufflers in the stern of the boat it's an older model ??
Same boats m.y. , same motors , same drives ...
Thanks for the lesson

My guess is it was a customer request. the one with all 6 pipes out the back is a CA boat... probably more strict on sound out there and it is quieter to run out under the swim platform.
All the other trip 43's I have ever seen run out the sides. I have seen different flavors of the trip though, some are like the ones you posted... 2 aft, 1 forward, but others are 1 aft, 2 forward engines. still run exhaust out the sides regardless.

Engines are the same, one whipped up. depends on use, etc. as far as which is better. non whippled would be more reliable.

The 43 is a great boat.
