ZR and ZRC speeds
Let's see 'em! WOT, gear ratio, props, etc.
38' ZRC, staggered 525's, just ran 95.2 mph on GPS. 1:36 gears, 28" 5 blade Herings, on the limiter. 1 person on board, 1/4 tank of fuel. Basically a kilo set up minus the throttleman. 90+ degree temps though so not optimal.
Changing from the tractor pipes to wet, out the transom exhaust cost speed, as did making props friendlier for planing and acceleration.
Hit some cruiser wakes and the boat just laughed. Hey Tom A., maybe I'll keep it and put some big power under the hood? !

Twin Ron Potter 700's in my ZrC.
After popping 3 Xr Drives, I am now running Imco SCX uppers and it feels just as fast.
1:50 gears, 32 5 blade herrings, rare 60 degree overcast day in Miami. 3 people, 1/2 fuel, perfect chop.

Standard length on the drives and I have the SC lowers. The SCX are so much beefier than the Xr's they look like a cross between the NXT's and Konrads. ?I only have a few hours on them so far so my fingers are still crossed but I am cautiously optimistic based on what everyone else has told me.
I don't have a good pic of the drives, don't mind the duck!
