Default 28 zx starter change

Anyone with a 28 zx w/ twin mercruiser 350 mpi's do a port side starter change out? Hoping I don't have to pull motor. Thanks

dont have to. pull the port manifold and riser. just have new gaskets

Had my port side starter replaced a couple months back.Jeff,from Scotties Marine in Ft Myers did it with the boat on the lift in my back yard.No manifold pull.Took him about 30 min.
Id keep a first aid kit handy,he was pretty beat up.

good to know, I was changing my manifolds and decicided to go ahead and change out the stater since it was right there.
