just out of curiosity, could you safely pull a 28zx with twins behind a newer F150 (2010+) ? whats the avg. weight of a zx w/ twins?

6500 lbs. dry weight + trailer weight. An F150 should be able to pull, but as for braking, get electric over hydraulic or electric depending on if you're gonna be doin salt water or not.

I tow mine with a Navigator. I figure roughly 8000 pounds total. I have surge brakes which have been perfectly fine... until the Sarasota run where we drove through horrible rain there and back. Now I want electric over hydraulic 'just in case'. If I wasn't planning on going to runs I wouldn't care... I boat when the weather is nice.
