Let's try this again.... I spent 14 hours driving on Monday (04/19/14) to check out a Donzi at a small marina in PA. What I had stumbled onto was a 1987 Donzi Minx that had spent its entire existence on a freshwater lake. When I arrived at Capri Marine on Lake Wallenpaupak, I was informed by Rich Fabri (owner), that he had sold this boat to the original owner and that they had done everything to the boat and he and his sons new the whole history. It turns out that it was a three owner, fresh water, rack stored little gem! It has the Merc 350 c.i. with the 320hp FI blueprinted motor option, Alpha SS drive with a three blade cleaver...I took her for a sea trial and was pleasantly surprised at how STUPID fast this little hot rod was! One of the marina employees rode with me and pulled out his GPS and checked the speed we were running... 55 MPH on GPS and not even close to WOT..... FUN!!! I got back to the dock, did the paperwork, loaded her up and headed home!

She isn't perfect, but she'll get some help and be welcomed to her new home....

Great looking boat!!! are you sure that is an Alpha SS drive?

Doesn't look like one. Every Alpha SS I've seen has a nose cone.
