I have found a used -98 Donzi 22zx which doesn’t have any tabs. Otherwise it is a clean looking boat, so my question is are they necessary with that hull or not. Its a 454 MPI boat with Imco external steering. No intention to add more hp.

Tabs definitely helped with cruising but at WOT i had the tabs up on mine. It would only porpoise if you had the drive too far in
