I was hoping to talk to some people who were running twin verado 300s on the 35 foot zfc. I had repowered the boat 5 years ago and have been struggling with slippage. The motors have been fully serviced. They are 25 inch shafts mounted at the second bolt hole. I am currently running 19 pitch rev 4 props. I am having to baby the throttle's up to prevent significant slippage. I am getting cruising speeds into the mid 30s with a WOT high 40's to 50. Was hoping to find some people with similar set ups.

I believe ZFCs should run a few ticks faster. Step bottom. Merc 300 verados should be a little stronger too. Try some other props then look into making sure your engines are running right. They go through ignition pencil coils I know. A diagnostic check for cylinder misfire would be smart.

You could try lowering motors, or lightening the front of the boat. My boat was able to blow out bravos at max speed and aggressive trim. I couldn’t trim them as high as the bigger diameter Suzuki or Merc eco props.
Being you have a step boat the trim characteristics won’t be identical to mine though.
