My buddy just bought a 1999 28ft Donzi at the end of last season and I was woundering what prop everyone else is running on these boat's??? He has a 454 efi mag. and he is running a 20pitch Hydromotive 4 blade, He said they hit the rev. limiter yesterday so I was going to let him try one of my 23pitch 3 blade mirages.....What do you guy's think?????????

I have a 26ZX which is just about the same boat especially since your friends has the single engine. Bravo 1 props work best on these boats, Hydromotives lift the stern more and make the boat hard to handle. A 24P Bravo 1 4 blade is best overall prop for my boat, but a labbed 26P is the best for WOT runs. Check out www.donzi.net for more knowledge on the boat. There is a guy with the handle fasttrucker with about the same boat as your friends that has done a lot of prop testing for that boat.

I have a 2001 26ZX with a 500 EFI in it and I am running a 24 Bravo 1 but have been playing around with the 26 pitch labbed prop. So far I still think that the 24 pitch is the best prop, however on your boat with a 454 I would say it is to much prop. I used to have a 454 Mag in my 26 and I bought a new 500 EFI and put it in. The 454 doesn't have enough to pull the boat out of the water, I would try the 23 pitch 3 blade first. Let me know!

Would love to hear how that 26 labbed works? Also I bet that 500 EFI looks very nice in that hatch
