Default 22 Zx

Hey guys, looking for a little info here. I am about to upgrade from my Glastron run about and move into somthing a little bigger. I have been looking at several diffrent types of boats and really like the 22 ZX. I have a couple of questions... I noticed there is a cuddy door, is the door pretty hard to get in and out of? Also, what kind of speed can be expected from a 7.4 or a mag? Does the step in the hull cause the boat to ride rough?

I,ve driven a few 22's ........ They're great riding boats, with or without the step ........ Smooth for their size .... Donzi used different engine config's for that boat through the years .... New one's are running small blocks with bravo 1's ..... Past years have run B/B Chev 454 & 502's ..... Speeds have varied accordingly ..... I know some guy's on the Donzi Board's that are running mid 80's with there set-up's ........

Very Nice boat, I'was going to buy it, then I opted for 26 ZX, since a great use on the Sea...

I heard it runs well rough waters for its lenght, with 377 it should reach 65-67 mph...

I heard too its hull is pretty aggressive, very exciting but difficult at high speeds...!!

I had a 1999 22ZX with the 7.4 that I loved, it was a great riding boat for the size. As you have probably guessed it was not the fastest for its size and power but when it got rough is when it proved itself. The ride and quality of it is what made me opt to stay with Donzi and I now have the 26ZX. Get it and you won't be sorry.

I assume that you mean a single small block.

I think what John S. meant to say is that it is a single with a 6.2 and Bravo. We took the boat in trade and it is in great shape. It's a one owner boat. If you would like more info please call me.
