22 Classic on L.I.
I am looking at a few different boats for use on the South Shore of Long Island; protected waters around Freeport and Merrick, Island Park, etc. Does anyone have experience with the 22 Classic in these waters? Are you enduring a pretty rough ride with the combination of typical water conditions and larger boat wakes? The other boats that I am looking at are the 24 Pantera, Superboat and Progression, which all have more freeboard than the Classic. Thanks for the feedback.

Ken, a 22 classic is perfect for those waters.
But I'd get an older one.
Is the draft less on the 22 than a 24SB or pantera?

The 22 Donzi for the record is a very wet boat. I had a 16 and my friend had a 22. We had a lot of fun with those boats but they are for young guys with good backs. And young girls with bikini's.........

I have a 95 22 Classic w/ 502 and Blackhawk for sale. It has about 50hrs on it. The boat is very clean. We took it on trade for a F150 and it only gets used a couple of times a year. It is a nice boat. Call me if interested.

By the way, what should this boat sell for?
