I was looking for information on how this boat ran and more information on it? I came up with very little. Any one know any good information on it? or have any pictures of it sitting in the water? Whats weird is it says that it runs 130? doesnt seem possible with the setup that is listed??

Are you saying 130 is too slow or too fast? Seems like 130 with 700's is conservative, considering Cat Lite boats run in that neighborhood with 525's. Outerlimits SV43 ran 120 with 725 Ilmors. Surely a cat is 10 MPH faster.

Cool looking boat!

Well with 1.5 ratio drives and 35 pitch props it doesnt seem possible. I doubt those engines are turning over 6k rpm. I wonder why they went with 1.5 ratio drives?

Hell, I wondered if I'd get jacked around by the bidding place again and made a bid. The answer is still "maybe" but the prize is worthy.

I went on to the Whipple website and it does say that the stage 2 kit raised the limit from 5400 to 5850 rpm. so you are right.

600hp with stage 2 takes it to 750hp and increases 130 ft pds of torque.

I would say he might be close but I was wondering the same thing you are.

That is an awesome shape Cat and the detail is impressive. I never knew much about Doug Wright boats until recent. I am impressed at the workmanship.

$295,000 isn't cheap though. But I guess none of them are anymore.
