I spoke briefly with DW Sr. about your windshield/receiver when I was at the factory over the summer, and I asked if he was using any of the known brands that are currently out in the market. He said that he never follows other manufacturers use of these products just for-sake-of and ease-of using well known brands. He wanted to design the windshield/receiver to follow the contours and lines of the DW32.
He also said that the windshield/receiver is an integral part of the deck that if done incorrectly would have performance consequences. That's the engineering mind the DW team.
