I see an ROS in the background :flag:

Hi LA, Yes Dale responded in the other forum. It's a Skater 318 with 400ROS. The 318 is/was a stock boat for Performance Boat Center....not sure if it was sold. The 318 got repainted and got the 400ROS. Would love to see how she runs. . |
The ROS is not meant to be a pleasure motor. Looks cool for sure but WAY better off with the reg 400R.
|
.
I'm curious to know why the ROS motor behaves differently around the docks etc, when multiple sources have indicated that the motor is exactly the same as the 400R. It sounds like the ROS may have a slightly different tune than the 400R. Would like to know... . |

The new 360 is HUGE! I was down to Doug's place to see my new boat a little over a week ago. All I can say is "wow". Having ridden in the boat as well, I can say that it is amazing!!

Yes Dale it did. I hope the new owners enjoy it. It's a great boat and I would have kept it had I not had the opportunity to buy my 36.

we need to see pics of your 36 :drink: . |

another 360 in the works...curious what that is at the tail??? Looks like DW is always working to improve the product... https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4681/...c1cf477b_o.jpg https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4691/...01b2c8e3_o.jpg https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4682/...c28e924e_o.jpg https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4688/...9c8aa347_o.jpg . |
Inboards/surface drives with the rear rudder mount? There aren't any splash wells in front of where the outboards would be.
|
Hole in center is for swim ladder. Original model was not swimmer friendly
|
Fin is probably the dolly under the transom (post #1 shows the dolly), ladder port as DR stated
Boat looks good with the reveals on the back deck area if they put traction pads there or not. Racey vibe and strengthening that section vs. flat glass. DW definitely on running with their A-Game |
Ladder comes with a Reese hitch? Lol
Inboards were a stretch considering lack of engine compartment hatches but the splash well delete is curious. |
^^^ Noli's Post/pic in btm Post#2 best show the boat w/o the engine relief - just comes down to how the client can have the plug in's to the engine run from the boat as the 400's sit well above the hull = clean, sweet and sexy lines!

Somewhere I saw a pic of this "fin" on a Doug Wright hull, They appear to run a tapered fin/wall from the bottom of the tunnel up towards the transom extending the tunnel to the back.
I would guess to hold the air in the tunnel a little longer, probably helps carry the tail with the motors back on brackets. $ .02 Attachment 574155 |

curious how the 360 would run with triple 400R motors or twin 500HP outboard (CRT) motors . |
