Myrick and the team at Performance Boat Center have passed the 120 mark in a Wright/Performance 420 with twin 450s. The boat was turning the max 6450 rpm allowed, so with a taller set of propellers, they will continue the quest of mid 120s. This was a dream land idea to have a 42 foot outboard run these speeds only one short year ago. These are great times to be an outboard enthusiast and being able to witness the continual process of the new 4.6 V-8 platform.

Thats a big a$$, big water boat for a pair of O/B's to push that fast.... AWESOME for everyone related to that accomplishment - definitely game changer.
