I read some posts awhile ago about a converted hudson sprayer. This was adapted to fill lower units. what were the threads used on the sprayer nozzle or what?? Thanks, Dave

I had one of those cheap $10. 1 qt bottle pumps and took the end off of it and attached it to a 1 gallon $10 garden sprayer. Buy the drive oil in 5 gallon buckets for less than 1/2 the 1 qt price and pour it in the sprayer. Just screw the piece in like normal, hit the "trigger" on the pump and wait a minute or 2 then close it up...your done!!!!

Ditto, I made one from a 10 dollar HD sprayer, clamped the hose and fitting on it, best part is trigger has "lock" position so you can stand there and drink a beer waiting for oil to flow from the vent.

Now THAT is one of the slicker ideas I've gotten off OSO! Worth the price of admission every day...

anyone have a photo of this setup? i'm trying to explain this to my brother and a pic would be helpful.

also, i'm guessing that you don't have to worry with the oil becoming aerated so long as you keep the sprayer filled?
