Hierarchal of Drives
Since I joined recently I've been noticing certain drives are limited in handling in HP. Is there a hierarchy of drives relating to performance?

Going from the TRS to the Bravo you lose about 250 lbs, (smaller transom plate and no tranny) and the engine is about 18" further back towards the transom.

mc1's (pre-alphas), theres also mr's and alpha gen 2's in the mix

The Bravo was cheaper to build (no transmission) and weaker therefore they have built in reaccuring revenue. It's there marketing department runnnig there engineering department. LOL
Konrad should be right after NXT Drive Mark:drink: |
add SSMIV and SSMV before #6

I am new here too. I've been running a 7.4 Merc - Bravo 1 - 230 PQ, and am looking to go to a bigger boat. Where do the Volvo's fall in to the above list. In particular the 415 DPX. It has the dual Props. Like the Bravo 3's, Which I don't see in the list either. Are they Tabu? HP hogs or something?
