Bravo One Question ... Please Help !
#1
Looking at a used boat for someone. It has a Bravo One drive. Boat has 710 hrs.
I can grab the drive and lift it up and down. It has slack at the upper and lower pivot pins --- the pivot pins that the drive rotates on side to side. I hope my description makes sense.
I know this can`t be good. My questions :
What exactly does this mean ? How much $$$ to repair ? Is it safe to operate boat like this ?
The owner acts like he was totally unaware of any problems.
How hard is this to repair ?
This is not a super expensive boat and owner has agreed to knock $1000 off as-is.
Your thoughts please.

The gimbal may be repairable, if not you will have to replace it. Do a search for repairs on here and prices of new, used gimbal. No matter which way you go the motor will have to come out to remove, or replace the gimbal and check the alinement of the drive to coupler when it goes back together. A $1000 doesn't go far for that kind of work.
