Default storing an XR drive

I have a new in the box XR drive. I am planning to store it on its side in in the back of my suv. Any problems with leaving the drive this way?

I can't see why that would be problem. I guessing it will be for a short period of time.

Shouldnt make any difference! On it's side, upsidedown.. I just dont see a problem with it. Of course I would cover it up, and lock the SUV,someone may think it shouldnt be on it's side and take it with them..

Default drive

I just checked with the experts they recommend in an upright position on the back of my BOAT. I will return to you when you need it again.
