Joey put Brodix 2 X heads on these motors .t hats where the high torque numbers came from .Loweredthe boost from 9 # to 7# Dyno pull with 9 # was over 1100. Hadto detune to save the drives and it broke anyway .So we try try again !

The big shaft is/was available in IIIs' and IVs' also. There is little difference in the torpedo for the propshaft itself. Though the internal configuration varies, they use the same front and roller bearings. The V does not use rear taper bearing. However the housing does protrude slightly where the larger pinion bearings are in the V drive lower. Vs' are virtually identical in hydrodynamics to IV drives.

I have a fresh rebuilt pair of 1:5 ratio small shaft #4s and gimbals if anyone is interested. Just have not got around to listing them in the classified yet.
