Default Difference in handling torque with 1.36 and 1.50

...is there a difference between 1.50 and 1.36 ratio from the point of view of handling torque?
Is one or the other better for a high hp motor?

Thx

the 1.50 can handel the torque better. the lower ratio loads the prop harder and will build more pressure internally
