I have a set of TRS 330's. The right hand rotation one, has a knocking noise in it. This is only in the forward direction, not in reverse or neutral. Any ideas on where to start. I really hope it is not the transmission, they are the merc transmissions.

It sounds like u-joints, but could be coming from inside the drive. Your drives or drive may need to be gone through. I've done many of those drives over the years. Give me a call at
954 237 0332. Also I do a lot of those transmissions also. Just
finished one today for Pier 57. So, again call me.
