What is a bravo x drive ?
I have a bravo x on my 04 nordic heat. What is the deal compared to a xr bravo 1 or xz. I have a 500 efi and I am installing a supercharger. I just bought a imco lower but need to know about the upper. Thanks John Lomant

Here's a link that does a good job of detailing the differences and might be of some help...

John,
If the new setup makes gobs of midrange torque, and you drive it wrong.. you will end up knocking the teeth off the pinion gear. But if you drive it with respect.. you may just make it work.
The X has the thick floor helical cut gears, and a steel tower in the case. Those are good things! If you make/use enough torque to break teeth, then you will have to go to XR gears in that upper. Even those can be broken, but the chances are less with the stronger XR gears and proper setup.
Hope this helps.. if you have any questions... fire away..
