I could not get transmissions to hold together in Freedom US1 46 Skater. You can try them in my boat. If they hold up for a few rough water runs you have a winner. I think the high performance boating community could use something like this. Good Luck!!!

motors look a little familiar :party-smiley-004:

Put a set of those badd Boyz in the Freedom US1 46 Skater for R & D , and Jimmy will test them better then that dyno will ever do ... lookin good :D

Has the case design changed from earlier pictures ?

The input shaft design appears similar to that Borg Warner uses. However, relative to overhung load, bell housing alignment and drive plate durability, should an input shaft nose rod fit a crankshaft pilot bearing ?

Your pictures convey a very sanitary assembly.

How much are those? How you do shift between the gears?

tssteph 01-09-2009 12:06 PM

Are they also being tested in a 32 Skater by any chance?

No, there would be no reason to put them in a 32 skater. In a 32 skater you would never have enough power to hurt a normal bam transmission, and if somehow you ended up with enough power to hurt a bam in that boat you would run over 200 in the shootout. There have been several 32 skaters with lots of power run over 160 and never break a normal trans. And the two speed would actually slow that light of a boat down because the second it took to shift would be a waste of time.
We ran a 36 skater in the shootout and ran 161 mph and made more passes then anyone else there and never hurt the bam trans.. That is not the market we are going after with these.. We are going after the market where people are breaking the biggest bam transmissions and having to put in crash boxes because they are the only other option for high hp big boats.

Anything new on your transmissions?
