They work great. One problem, they don't make them anymore. I have been looking but can't even find a used one. JOHN

This is the boat I want to run the box on.Go to utube( 202stinger flybye) look at both clips.I think I can get some more MPH with one. If you listen to the vidio,Im right on the rev limiter 5900. I am running a 30 bravo.Going to a labbed 32 and I think a box would get me in at about 85mph.Running 79 GPS now.I just think the box would give me some more bow lift, thus less wetted surface, less drag.In them pic's I'm trimmed all the way up. nice sounding boat! just a question, what does it sound like when its on the rev limiter? cus i listened, but i didnt know what i shoulda been listening for.

Be sure to check into the box and know your transom angle. If your transom is more than 13deg. a neutral box will actually lower your X dimension.

Also you may not end up carrying the bow more. The box will cause the center of gravty to move forward.

The sound you want to listen for is like the motor is missing a cylinder or or a interuption in the sound. With the box I think it Will get my drive a little deeper, because now I have almost no up trim.It will just start to cavitate. JOHN

If you are hoping to lower it then you will still want to look into the box. The neutral position boxes offered will leave your X the same unless your transom angle is greater than 13 deg.

You may want to see if a spacer is available. making one would'nt be to bad.

The CG moving forward will still make it hard to carry the bow without a prop change. Although you will love the improved handling since the boat will feel/ride like a larger boat.

doesn't a stand off box move the center of gravity rearward? the moment of gravity will interpolate back as the weight is placed further from the transom.
