Default Prop Rotation ?

Can anyone tell me what would give me more bow lift?
Spinning the starboard or port prop c/w or cc/w ? I have a 34' Magic Sorcerer.
Thanks guys

P.S. running Bravo drives.

Hey magic....
you're lucky, with bravo's it's easy to experiment...no need to switch the drives...just the cables (or test it knowing reverse is forward and the opposite...) the best you can do for your boat is try it...my Sutphen should go faster with the Revo 4's spinning out, but the handling is horrible, so I spin in. I've tried 3 blades, in, out, etc...it's a bit of work to switch the alphas, but I run great right now for my application....
hope this helps...and welcome
c

Spinning in gives more bow lift. I tried it on my old 320es and it may have been a bit faster but it was a handful to drive and porpoised terribly. It all depends on the boat.

Thanks Guys,
Yes, that helps.
I installed 2" shorty's and now cannot get bow up even with trim way up. Going to install 1" spacers and maybe try this.
Thanks

Before you go through the spacer work, give some hydromotive P5X props a try. I had my drives relocated up 2" in X dim. With the stock Bravo 4 blades I had some cavitation when getting on plane and lost some trim ability. Tried the P5X's with 15 1/2" diameter and both problems were fixed. Picked up top and mid range speed, as well.

Hi David,
When you went to P5X's, what pitch did you run compared to Bravo's?
Thanks again,
Darren

Had 15 x 26 Bravo 1"s and hitting limiter at 5200rpm, Went with 15 1/2 x 25 P5X's, brought my rpm down to 5000.
