Tomcei,
So far they only have a hand full of them assembled and are sold. The next batch will be few months out. Give it some time to see how it fairs. Imco has 950hp in a 28' deckboat and a diesel motor in a 21' boat. Not sure of weights, etc. Too soon to tell. It looks good on paper so far, but the test of time will tell the real story. When you are ready to buy, let me know I will shoot you a price.

Hope that helps.

Dick-
Is the SCX an internally shifting drive or is there a trans in an extension box? Also, do you have to buy the IMCO transom assembly with the drive or will it bolt up to a stock merc? I've heard that you can adjust the x-dim without disassembling the drive, any truth to that and how does that work?
Thanks
-Tom

The drive is shiftable.
the helmet assy is different I believe.
I don't think the drive depth is adjustable. You might be thinking of the "x-drive" at the Miami show

Oh ok thanks. Is the "x-drive" you're referring to the same as the XPower Drive at LA? If so, do you know how it adjusts x-dim?

Looks like it's done with spacers.

Tom,
The drive is shiftable, no trans needed. The helmet is different, but comes with the drive. It will bolt in a Merc HP gimble. I like the looks of the Imco Gimble, much stronger piece. I would recommend it!
The drive is being offered in a -2" config and they have spacer plates available for it.. So no real adustment.. just the length..
Hope that helps.

Nothing yet.. They have assembled a hand full of them and they have been sold. More will be built as parts come in some time in April I believe.
So maybe we will hear some feedback in the near future. I have some lowers coming in tomorrow and some literature is suppose be in with them. I am thinking it will just be the add that was in Power Boat, but I will let you know..
