I have a 24 ft single engine v bottom, right hand trs drive thats being replaced with a Konrad 540. My question is their any advantage to using a left hand drive versus a right hand drive. I ordered a right hand drive but received a left hand drive. Konrad has agreed to make it a right hand rotation. A friend said he thought a left hand rotation is a faster than a right hand rotation.

Ask them if you can give a try first. It just may work to your advantage. On some boats it does work better than right hand drive.
