I have a 38' Fountain, non-stepped hull with TRS. I am about to do some repair work and will be remounting the drives. My question is which is the better way to run, spinning in or spinning out? I have heard a few different views. Is there a difference for coming out of the hole and/or top end? Thanks for all the input !

My guess is they are spinning out now? You should leave them that way, they don't handle as well spinning the other way. It sure wont hurt to try spinning them the other way but as you know, to change rotation you must swap the drives with a TRS.

The props spinning out is the most common you will find.....its also most managable around the docks. It tends to give the boat more of a nose high running attitude... Spinning the props in-ward does tend to give you a little more top end (3-4 depending on boat) but you suffer a little around the docks, and it tends to lift the a$$-end of the boat more...
