Default trim cyl. rebuild

I have two sets of trim cyl. on my brovo ones and would like to have them rebuilt, at W.O.T. one is leaking down swaped pumps side to side and the problem stayed on the port side and did not follow the pump If I do one I would like to do all. The drives are on a 1990 daytona with blown big blocks

They're just hydraulic rams. You can do them yourself with a bench vice and a spanner wrench. A local hydraulics supply house can cross the seals for you.

Remove the rams, run them in % out to purge the fluid. When you clamp them, grab the mount eye on the end. You don't want to deform the barrels. Unscrew the end cap and pull the rod out. The piston unscrews, then the rod comes out of the gland (end cap). Pull the soft parts off & take the whole thing to a hydraulics house & they'll match you up. Remember to blue loctite the piston nut when you replace it. Be very careful on re-assembly- seals don't like to be nicked. When running the rod thru the gland, put masking tape over the threads for protection. As soon as the piston starts into the bore, slide the cap on and catch a few threads- this will center the piston in the bore before you attempt to move the rod in.

my alpha kit rebuild kit was like $25 and it was a short afternoon job...just be sure to really clean out/off all surfaces and corrosion so everything fits back together nicey-nice..short cuts won't do it...
