Hi Dick,
I have Merc Racing extension boxes! I did find the part at Teague and it is on the way. When they pull the drive next week, I'll be there. If there is no worn grove on the shaft, then I'll just go with the seal kit.

I recently had oil in the bellows my self. To locate the leak I simply pumped oil from the top to discover the carrier seal was toast. Perhaps your shop can pressure test the drive? My money is on the seal Marc and Dick had mentioned.

Cig, it fits X & XR only.
Dick, I know my memory is shot so I might have forgotten, but I have been doing this stuff since the late 60's and I do not remember ever having to replace an input yoke that was worn enough to cause a leak, rusted yes, worn no. How about you?
