Default Pair of fresh TRS/Speedmaster #2 drives available

I have a fresh pair of 0 hour SSMII drives available with props. These are the TRS Speedmasters with the vented upper and bullet lower, and surface props.

Asking $4500 for the pair, including props and shipping in the lower 48.

Let me know if anyone wants them. Built them for my 35' Cigarette, sold the boat before it was finished, I'm sick of looking at them collect dust on the shelf.

Redcorvette -

I have a Konrad with transom assembly for sale, one season, fresh water if you decide to go that route. Then you only will have to worry about one new one!

By the way it was freshened at Konrad at the end of the season and only has break in time. When you are ready email me for the details.

I am also a Konrad dealer and would make it worth your time if you decide to upgrade. It is a true and reliable upgrade. Keep researchng and you'll find your answer.

If you're rebuilding the counter rotating TRS lower, solid shim the carrier instead of using a crush collar. If you're running a lot of power or in rough water, it pushes the gears apart slightly and compresses the collar leading to failure.

Just a suggestion!

Also, if you locked up the drive it's possible it damaged the oil pump in the transmission if you're running Borg Warners....

Dont think it locked just allot of kluncking then I shut it down and limped in. If it had locked what happens to pump ?

If it locks up it usually breaks the oil pump gear and you won't have any oil pressure in the pump so you wont have forward or reverse.

Depending on how much it vibrated, even though it didn't lock up, it might have fractured the oil pump gear. sometimes it wont show its weary head until the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd run after you reinstall the new drive. You'll be cruising along and all the sudden, no more go go....

There's really no way to tell if you'll have a problem or not unless you replace the oil pump gears which means pulling the engine out or put the new drive on and hope for the best!
