We like the Hydro Cool II units.
Personally I have never had an issue with a cavatation plate pick up as they are an industry standard and function well unless you have an extremely high X dimasion or high angle when trimmed out. http://www.innovativemarine.net/1050.html |

I have Simrek Halos with the cavitation plate pickups that have the hole in the leading edge on my boat and they work! I know this because after installing one on my previous boat, I let the wife drive while I looked over the back. Tons of water all over the drive. That's how I know they "really work".
How do you know they don't work? |
My cavitation plate models work great. And I have a high x demension. They spray like crazy at 80 mph. I do not know why he is saying that?

The CP Perf single pickup cap type shower or the (I think Rex Marine) single pickup stainless steel cap type. NOT the 'halo' type tube style.
Check ou tthe CP Perf Website and the Rex site, they have good pics and detailed descriptions. You are right though, you wont need the dual pickup with stock power. Best of luck! Thanks |
Still waiting to hear why our working showers don't work. I need to know whether to remove them before they quit working. :)
