Thanks The Halo showers spray all over the drive sure, but it's more like splashing the drive with mist rather than dousing it with a bucket! |
Halo style shower with cavitation pickups in action.

That's a great pic!
Wouldn't you want flow on your top cap though? The stock top cap is thin and is the bit that would be prone to warpage and failure if it got to hot I would think. That pic really does give a good idea of flow rate though, thanks! I stand somewhat soundly corrected. |
I was messing around with a water proof bag for my Zi8 .. you can see the pick up really getting the water.. I have another video of the shower and yeah water is "showering" the drive:kiss:

So a single shower on a B1 with over 500hp should really have two, I think mine is pretty darn basic. Boat runs 65-74.

I am interested as well, running twin alphas off a 26' currently running high 60's just missing low 70's with mild motors. Planning on repowers this winter and pushin well into the 70's, I was looking at the Halo style as well.
Curious to hear the thoughts on why this is or isn't a good choice. From what I have seen they seem to work pretty darn good. |
