Yes but do you really know if it works?

I can agree on that on more "normal" boats that top around 50mph but on more high perf boats I highly doubt that they work that very well.

The cooling of the drives is too important to taking any chances!

I have Simrek Halos with the cavitation plate pickups that have the hole in the leading edge on my boat and they work! I know this because after installing one on my previous boat, I let the wife drive while I looked over the back. Tons of water all over the drive. That's how I know they "really work".

How do you know they don't work?

My cavitation plate models work great. And I have a high x demension. They spray like crazy at 80 mph. I do not know why he is saying that?

Check ou tthe CP Perf Website and the Rex site, they have good pics and detailed descriptions. You are right though, you wont need the dual pickup with stock power.

Best of luck!
What is the problem or issue withe the 'Halo Tube style shower' I have a set for my XR's. Curious on your opinion.

Thanks

Still waiting to hear why our working showers don't work. I need to know whether to remove them before they quit working.

I always thought the spray holes would be too small, that and I'd want the water to flow heavily on the top cap to cool it, as it the most important part. If any part would get hot, that I think would be it!

The Halo showers spray all over the drive sure, but it's more like splashing the drive with mist rather than dousing it with a bucket!
