Bravo Gear Ratio?

What is the easiest way to check the gear ratio of a Bravo Drive?

The old fashion way.. mark the propshaft and turn the input shaft. But you better do it a couple of times. The difference between 1.36 and 1.5, is kind a close.
The other way is to count teeth, but you need to see the lower and upper gears to do it.
Hope this helps.
