What is involved with changing the gear ration of a Alpha 1 Gen 2 from 2.0 to 1.47? When I go to do it, I will buy the book but I just want to get an idea before I buy the used drive. Is it just 1 set of gears (either in the upper or lower - don't know which)?

not sure about an Alpha, but in a Bravo you'll need more than just the book and a set of Craftsman tools. These things are like transmissions and need a couple specialty tools and specific backlash settings (inch/lbs for example).
